Brücken is an intergenerational theater project with live music that brings together different, widely separated generations. Participants include young people up to 18 years old and senior citizens in retirement who collaborate with a team of theater, dance, and music educators to brainstorm ideas and develop a piece that will be performed publicly at the end of the workshop week. The exchange of experiences and the discovery of common ground between the two groups is of particular importance for both the participants and the audience.
